Our Pre-Preparatory department consists of girls in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Girls in Reception are based at our Twickenham Early Years site and Years 1 & 2 at Nightingale House in Hampton, the school’s original site and former home of our founder Molly Papirnik.

The first year of formal schooling is such a special time for children and their families and girls in our Reception classes truly thrive during this year. Girls in our Reception classes at Twickenham are typically a mixed group of children who have been at our nursery and others joining the school at this point.

The girls learn so much during their Reception year – from reading books, to executing formal experiments – and we take immense pleasure in guiding parents and children through this exciting process.

The Reception girls are based at our Early Years site in Twickenham as they are within the Early Years Foundation Stage phase but are very much a part of our Pre-Prep. The benefit of being on this site means we can teach to the special needs of this aged child, whilst they also benefit from being ‘big girls’ at the very start of their formal education.

We work for working parents
