Clarence House students enjoy a fortnightly one-to-one coaching session with a teacher on a Friday afternoon.

Held in one of our Ideas Spaces, coaching sessions provide opportunities to discuss academic progress, new books and any pastoral concerns, and allow the teacher to encourage extra- or out-of-school activities.

Coaching sessions help to develop our students’ understanding of how we learn what we learn and the importance of grit.

These sessions are provided in addition to the pastoral and learning conversations held in class and in our Learning for Life programme.
